Peaberry

Peaberry is the common name of a coffee bean that develops alone within a coffee cherry. Peaberry coffee can have brighter notes and a lighter body. The major difference of peaberry beans is that they have been carefully sorted, which impacts the flavor profile of the coffee.

Peaberries are a rare and natural variation of beans – they account for only 3% to 5% of the entire crop Costa Rican Coffee crop. The coffee flavor is aromatic, smooth, more robust and intense than regular beans.
